The Four Validation Phases

To ensure scientific reliability, construct independence, and predictive validity, our research team follows a rigorous sequential methodology:

Phase 1 (Completed)

Theoretical Formulation & Scientific Framework

Formulation of the 5 core dimensions, boundary definitions against adjacent constructs (resilience, toxic positivity, cognitive reappraisal), and establishment of the falsification criterion in Scientific Framework v1.1.

Phase 2 (Current)

Item Pool Generation & Content Validation

Development of an initial psychometric item bank across all 5 dimensions. Content validity assessment by external expert panels (psychologists, educators, sociologists) and cognitive interviewing for clarity.

Phase 3 (Upcoming)

Exploratory & Confirmatory Factor Analysis (EFA/CFA)

Data collection across representative demographic cohorts. Structural equation modeling, testing multidimensional factor structure, item reduction, and scale calibration.

Phase 4 (Long-term)

Longitudinal & Incremental Validity Studies

Testing predictive power on behavioral coping, physiological markers of burnout, and organizational retention under prolonged stress.

Commitment to Open Science

The Institute for LQ Development adheres to the principles of open, reproducible research. Research designs, measurement protocols, and statistical analysis plans are pre-registered on the Open Science Framework (OSF) prior to empirical data collection to safeguard against p-hacking and publication bias.

Academic Partnerships

We collaborate with university departments, research institutes, and independent scholars across Central Europe. Interested researchers are invited to contact our research lead regarding data sharing, joint grant applications, and doctoral research topics.
